Our Story
Co-founders Bret and Darren developed a passion for technology and problem-solving from an early age. After starting up a computer club in the 7th grade, the two began diving deep into technology – honing their IT skills by setting up game networks to eventually exploring the behind-the-scenes elements of big IT companies.
Since our start in 2005, Immense Networks remains focused on helping Baton Rouge businesses achieve ongoing innovation through technology. We want our clients to free their inhibitions and unravel the possibilities of technology to make the world their playground.

Meet the Innovators

Bret Esquivel
MCSE, CCNA, Computer Science B.S., President

Darren Kattan
CCNA, MCP, Computer Engineering B.S, Vice-President
Darren is a sensory seeker, preferring fast cars, loud music, and the spicier the food the better. In one of his finer moments, Darren flipped a gokart because he let go of the steering to pump up a super soaker during a battle with his dad.
Darren graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. He has experience in the field of technical support with a strength in root cause analysis.

Christian Bankester
Mathematics B.S., Sr. Software Developer

Tara Ashley
Art History B.F.A., Director of Operations
Tara, an avid Disney fan, has been an annual pass-holder at Walt Disney World for a few years and will talk your ear off about the parks. It’s not uncommon to hear Disney music when walking by her office. If you need any tips or tricks or a Disney travel buddy, she’s always up for it!
A Buckeye from a young age, Tara has a Bachelor of Arts from The Ohio State University. She has worked as an administrative professional for the past 8 years specializing in procurement, account management, and client relations. Most days you’ll find Tara in her Doctor Who filled office, listening to 90’s pop music, working on invoicing and orders.

Woodson Faerber

Woodson, an avid bowler, has competed in 11 National Bowling tournaments with a high game of 274. He is still awaiting the day when he will get to share a White Russian with The Dude, and bowls that perfect 300.

Kayla Carline
Information Technology, Service Coordinator
Kayla hails from small town Brusly, Louisiana on the outskirts of Baton Rouge. Don’t worry if you’ve never heard of it, neither have we. During crawfish season, you can find her outside on the patio with a roaring pot and a paddle. She’s more than likely using the paddle to swat away alligators; we’re surprised she hasn’t been eaten yet.
Kayla graduated from ITI Technical College with an Associates in Information Technology and with the Gold Award for highest GPA in her graduating class.

Josh Nance
Political Science B.S., Systems Administrator / Project Team Lead
Josh spends his free time hunting sasquatch

Clay Tillman
A+, MTA, RCSA-SD, Sr. Technical Support Specialist
Clay spends his free time playing paintball, which he believes he’s become quite good at; the jury is still out on whether or not he actually is. He also enjoys torturing people by making them beef jerky and then not sharing the recipe.
Clay comes from a data center background and has years of experience in server administration, hosted applications, virtualization and disaster recovery. He enjoys cheesy kung-fu flicks, bleeding-edge gadgets and drones.
